Project Description

This was an adaptable reuse of a large three level dwelling house to become a high-quality childcare centre.

Exacting Operator, Building Code of Australia (BCA), Australian Standards (AS) and Childcare Regulations standards needed to be met, particularly for a multi-level childcare centre including multiple fire exits per level and accessibility requirements.

The centre was designed, built and fully fitted out by us and has been well received and supported by Council and the community.

Construction was completed and the centre was handed over turn-key to the operator on time and on budget in 2012.

It has been successfully operated since that time by My Stepping Stones Childcare.
